As a member of our Technology Team, the successful candidate will work from our Cambridge, Canada R&D office and be responsible for administration and management of our infrastructure servers.

 

Role:

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for administering and managing the software and hardware infrastructure required to run the business. This role will be 80% operational focused and 20% software development.   Responsibilities may include:

 

  • Handling numerous dedicated or virtual servers in a hosted cloud-based environment
  • Implementing redundant systems, security and a disaster recovery plan
  • Being on-call for server & service outages
  • Assisting with software evaluation & selection criteria
  • Documenting processes and policies

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline or several years’ work experience and technical training
  • Ability to write shell scripts to automate tasks
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot and correct performance problems
  • Experience working directly with any of the following technologies are a big plus:
    • Ubuntu and CentOS Linux
    • MongoDB, Cassandra and Hadoop

As a member of our Technology Team, the successful candidate will be located in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

 

Role:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for Java application development supporting business objectives. This may include:

  • Writing server side code, primarily in Java
  • Designing and implementing new features and optimizing existing ones
  • Diagnosing problems in existing software and rapidly fixing issues
  • Working closely with engineering and product teams to fulfill business requirements
  • Assisting with software evaluation and selection criteria

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of Java experience and a minimum of 5 years work experience in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems and a willingness to take on new tasks
  • Background in distributed systems, information retrieval, data visualization, and/or developing enterprise software system a plus.

We are looking for a Technical Support Representative with 1-3 years of relevant experience with excellent customer service skills and experience supporting customers with our high performance web application. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within with Big Data field.

 

Role:

  • Handling day-to-day customer support and being the primary liaison between our customers and our internal engineering teams
  • Serving as a technical resource to the data sales personnel, and serving as an internal expert as it relates to supporting data coverage and API related questions
  • Effectively communicating and answering questions about our product/service offerings with customers
  • Supporting the Account Managers on their pre-sales activities by ensuring they are aware of what data is available, participating in campaign kick-off calls and ensuring sales packages are complete, etc…
  • Supporting post sales activities by getting each client up and running with specific API training while also resolving any QA issues
  • Assisting in developing a strategic and tactical approach to acquire data feeds available from major retailers. Contacting those major retailers to identify retailer feed partners and making contact with those feed partners to establish a working relationship with Retailigence
  • Establishing and communicating data requirements and priorities in collaboration with our Engineering group
  • Effectively communicating and facilitating the troubleshooting process of data related issues from clients to our Canada based Engineering team.
  • Driving business priorities with the product team
  • Identifying product and process improvement opportunities for the existing data solutions offering based on on-going customer feedback, and systematically identifying areas of improvement around our current data coverage
  • Effectively collaborating with Development team to move issues through our software release process in order to find solutions for our customers.

 

Desired:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent technical related program
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Sales support, customer care, or a help desk position
  • Demonstrated aptitude for supporting customers with Software application issues.

Director of Data Strategy, Partnerships & Integration

 

About You

The person we seek is intimately familiar with the sourcing, integrating, cleansing and augmenting of high quality data; is familiar with the retail industry and associated data issues; and can define data acquisition strategies, navigate the partner space opening new channels of data sourcing and value-add capabilities. The successful candidate will develop and embody the value proposition for retailers and partners to work with Retailigence, and serve as the key stakeholder for Retailigence providing guidance and subject matter expertise to the product group on this critical company asset.

 

Primary activities include:

• Own our value proposition for retailers, brands and partners; create and articulate the business case for collaboration with Retailigence
• Establish and communicate the data priorities in collaboration with our sales organization; drive business priorities with the product team
• Subject matter expert joining sales teams in data conversations with customers and prospects
• Initiate partnerships that generate value for Retailigence, partner and/or provider which appropriately incentivizes the partner
• Drive the acquisition and/or integration of data and the continuous efforts for improving data quality.

 

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter, comfortable in a small, dynamic environment
• Demonstrable experience/familiarity with the data issues and value drivers associated with the retail industry
• Strong understanding of and contacts within retail applications ecosystem, especially in the context of retail data management
• Ability to engage both Marketing Executives about value-propositions and IT Executives about integration steps and processes
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute initiatives with minimal direction, and successfully drive them to completion – get the right data in the system
• Exceptional professionalism; good organizational skills

• Should expect to work from our Redwood City office 4-5 days per week with domestic travel probably 1-3 weeks per quarter.
